A recent dissipated (deapparated?) post brought up Lowell George, and he was actually originally a harp player.. a bit creeps in on their albums. To my mind one of the great, desperate, blues. but not totally standard blues songs of all time comes from that band.. and he is one of the great all time singers..no no, not not the one about the fat man in the bathtub. this one surfaced on youtube not too long ago, nice live version, catch the slide solo around 4:10

Great tune but I prefer the original from "Sailin' Shoes".
Lately I have been grooving to their recent version of "Mellow Down Easy". That's Kim Wilson on the harp.
