Hi all

I'm very happy that some people took 14 videos when I played with the Marble Tones in the UK.
We played as a trio in The Old Neptune in Whitstable. No drummer because of the neighbors :-))
So we decided a frist time ever trio gig, double bass, guitar and harmonica. I played the harmonica through the PA system , using the vocal mic... very few hand effects , pure harp sound.
We had big fun and the audience loved the music , also because of the low volume!!

here you can find the videos:

Enjoy our (semi) acoustic gig !

This is it. This is fantastic. I refer to all the vids. Or is someone now going to tell me this isn't it?

Thank you for posting this!

I think the combination of upright bass, one guitar and acoustic harp is perfect. There's plenty of room for everyone to shine. And they all do here!

As a matter of fact, Carlos Del Junco recently played a show here in Kingston using the same trio of instruments - Harp, guitar and upright bass.

One of my favorite settings for duo is acoustic bass and harmonica. Have done a few settings like this to great success.

Plenty of space left for all to be heard within their sonic range, even with guitar in the mix.

Great, great stuff, Ben. Nice to see how you use that mic naked like that, and still sound bluesy as hell.

I will now close my eyes, pretend I was there, proudly play along with my sole BetaHarp--and sound nowhere near as good as you do here. Cheers!
