Just curious if anyone has tried any of the low-watt tubbys and what you thought of them?

Yes, I've tried the hemp cone Tone Tubby speakers. For the money I prefer the Eminence Cannabis Rex and Lil Buddy hemp cone speakers. They share the same warm tone, which Eminence describes as "smokey." LOL.

They're really nice - if you can stand the odd odor they give off when you run them hot :)

The low watt tubbys are a smooth cone. I believe the lil buddy and the cannabis rex are both ribbed.
