I did a cursory search and it appears that this hasn't shown up here yet. A musician buddy told me about this yesterday, so I looked it up and took the test myself. I thought it would be of interest and especially in light of the recent thread on "ear training". It is described as a "test to roughly characterize a patient’s pitch discrimination and musical memory abilities". I thought it was a fun little exercise and I scored pretty good. About half way through I decided that doing it with headphones might be a good idea and I think it helped me zero in on subtle variations in the patterns.
