I suppose it was not a compliment when the one whom I dearly love called my harmomica a stinky cheese whistle?

Cheese-Whistle
Cheese-Whistle: noun.
~ a very discreetly cautious, highly potent, and fortuitously noiseless fart that an individual manages to execute secretly and completely unbeknownst to other persons until it singes their nostril hairs. Provides the cheese-whistler an opportunity to repudiate culpability or blame for the offense, or to accuse another individual, if so desired.

*"cheese-whistle" can of course also be utilized as an insult. Can you please stop playing that stinky cheese-whistle!

Judge, I love my husband - but I just can't stand it when he plays his stinky cheesewhistle, I want a divorce...

Btw...is that picture a pencil sketch that you did orphan?

Frank must have learned to how to play the bum flute and the harmonica at the same time. Impressive. Takes years of marriage to accomplish that.

@Frank
The pencil sketch was in a cafe in Liberty, Mo. It was done by an art student @ William Jewell College. His first name is Doug. I can't make out the last name. Looks like Chyopilar.
In my mind's eye it is me. But what do I know, I'm just an orphan...

@ Frank
I can't tell if you like the pencil sketch or not. Would be interested in hearing your comments.

I listened to the midi file for the Cheese Whistle. I dunno, its not something I would want to play. But that's just me. Maybe there are others here that would like to do something with it. Are you planning on putting up a Centipede Saloon version of it?

I don't have any of my harp playing to share right now. I'm still working on getting to the next level of my playing. There are a lot of great players on this forum so it is not hard for me to determine what I am lacking.

It is an eerily mesmerizing sketch, it has the characteristics of a child and an adult - the eyes are in wonder or disbelief and it appears he wants to smile, yet that frozen grin is all he can muster as if he is holding in tears...The wounds I see are his left eye and right cheek...How he got them I could speculate. The internal wounds only God knows?

No I'll pass on learning to play it too...

If you know what you're lacking - then play to your strengths... it really is that easy, you'll never put up anything if you wait to know everything, it's a process - use what you're good at now and the rest will take care of itself down the line :)

Man Frank, you nailed it on the sketch. Thanks for commenting.

Our band is taping some rehearsals to get some issues resolved. I'll see if I can get something up. Your point is well taken.

Now back to your original post. I still get a chuckle out of that! Thanks
