First time at a new location. My jazz/blues duo was asked by the town to play there which was nice. A cool, windy day for Miami -right off the bay so the wind was howling-probably kept attendance down a bit.

Kind of a combination farmers market, food stand thing. Tips were not great but people were very appreciative- especially the vendors who kept us well fed and coffee'd up. Also made some good contacts. And got some press in the local blog.

All in all a good experience. And we were asked back which is always nice. Could be a regular Thursday gig which is great for a weekday

Good stuff! I haven't been to Bayside in Miami for years. Sounds like it was good fun! Are you going to the Riverwalk blues fest this weekend to see Adam play?

Sounds good, man. It's great to pick up a gig during the week. And you scored some free food and drink-- that's more than some players get for a gig.

Good to hear about it. Post some clips if you have them. I'd love to hear the jazz harp.

@ Carl
I am gonna try. I may have a gig Saturday so not sure.
A shame he isnt there Sunday as well.

@ Mirco Not really jazz harp that I am doing. Mostly play drums and sing. On the harp numbers I play blues and add some horn stabs on the swing numbers( kind of a Tom Waits vibe)
