I'm playing the Riverwalk Blues Festival in Ft. Lauderdale this Saturday with Sterling Magee--three sets, the first beginning at 4:45 and the third ending at 9:30. Soundcheck is at 10 AM.
I'm bringing one small amp along with me, but I need a second amp. The festival may be able to find one for me, but I suspect that there's some forum member who might be able to service me (so to speak). All I can offer in return is a couple of signed CDs (Kick and Stomp, Roosters Happy Hour) and a one-hour personal lesson after morning soundcheck. I'm sure I can also get you into the festival for free. And of course you'll get to take lots of videos of me playing through your amp and say, "That's my amp, making that sound." I will make your amp sound good!
I use small amps. What I'd like ideally would be 5-10 watts. A Premier Twin-8 is what I'd normally bring along, so that would be ideal, but a HarpGear 2 or small Gibson would also be great. Any funky smallish amp. I'm not interested in anything big, like a Bassman or the like. An HG Double Trouble could work, although it's not ideal. But even it would probably be better than what they're going to supply me if I can't find anything else.

I got a Gibson skylark-all original down to 2 prong chord. Trem is iffy- but amp sounds great
I am in Hollywood fl - if u need it

i'd like to help but i am on the left coast
i do have a question for you however,
are the amp's you use, typically stock?
do you use 12ax7s in the preamp?
just curious.

I live in Fort Lauderdale. If they could be of help to you, you can use either or all of my amps. I have a harpgear 2, harpgear double trouble, and harpgear 1210.

Thanks to all who responded. I'm going with Carl, simply because I've got and know the HG2. But I truly appreciate the generosity of Goldbrick and another member, and I look forward to trying THOSE amps some other day.
