I found a free Java based program that I downloaded at works and it works pretty well to slow down music while staying in the same key. It also claims it can be used to transcribe or transpose a song to new key. It's called "Slow MP3" and can be downloaded from several sights if you Google it(Softpedia is one). It's also available for windows or apple. I use Ableton Live at home to do this but this will work and it's much easier to use.
Here are some key features of "Slow MP3":
Play MP3 and WAV files
Transpose song to any key
Slow down tempo
Loop song parts
Identify notes and chords
