This, to me, is just a crazy good groove. Does anyone have much experience playing it, or know of any versions with Harp? The Ben Harper version is one version (no harp) that I really like.

I play with several different artists who do this tune. Fun to play and the signature lick isn't that hard once you learn it.

I recall seeing a forum member posting a version of themselves doing this clip... feel like it might have been Dwayne or Mike Fugazzi.

Stevelegh, thanks. I would like to see a video of somebody really handling the groove on this tune. These two videos, Popper doesn't really play on it and actually seems to almost decide not to. The second one is fun for lead & pyrotechnic harp but not really the tune itself. Greg, true, the line isn't tough but it sure does have to be with players that can smooth it right.

Well - this video comes in the middle of a longer set- jump to about 9M in. At about 9:30 one guitar player starts playing the lick in the wrong key but he gets it sorted out, then there's another cut at about 9:35 to my solo. The woman who puts these videos together makes cuts in nonsensical places so the beginning of the tune is missing.... but the groove is there. Solos at first but she'll start singing it later ...
I'll leave it to you to decide if we were "really handling the groove"

I cover this song with the rock band I play with. The way we do it, I leave the first verse alone and then come in with the whole band during the chorus. Then the second and third verse I play fills in between the vocals. Instrumentation is guitar, drums, bass, vocals, and harp. The bass and guitar play the signature lick so I let them carry the groove and do my best to add some texture and bluesify it a bit. Fun tune to jam on, very harp-friendly.
