Taza asked if I would post some of the guitar/fiddle/harp trio music I mentioned in his wailing note thread, so here it is.
I was part of this trio in 2001, and had just been playing publicly at jams and sitting in for a few years. My playing is OK, but I would change some things now, since I have continued to develop my ability since then. This group is a good example that playing with musicians that are better than you is good for your development.
Anyway, it was recorded live, no overdubs, at a community radio station. these are the last two songs of the 10 song set, and use diatonic harp. Some other cuts used chromatic.

I have reactivated the videos. Sorry about that...
I was experiencing some insecurity in having posted music from 13 years ago that was not up to my current capability. The general lack of interest made me doubt having posted them in the first place.
However, having mentioned the trio in another thread, I had wanted to respond to Taza's interest in the music.
I think that it is valid, entertaining music, and as I acknowledged above, Matt and Lisa were certainly performing above my level in musicianship. The harp playing is (in my view) acceptable and decent playing, but not an example of outstanding performance or technique. Audiences enjoyed our music, and I enjoyed playing it.
I didn't bump it because I doubted interest of the forum in this kind of music and I didn't want to seem to be strongly promoting these songs as examples of excellence on my part.
Anyway, here they are again, and I will leave the music accessible for a while.

I certainly understand. I recorded harp for 7+ tracks on another artist's album soon to be released. Unfortunately, it was recorded 2 1/2 years ago. Needless to say, my playing was significantly different then. It was fine, but certainly not up to my current standard and choices.
Thanks for putting them back up. I'll certainly watch them.
