One of my Customers asked me to Optimize, or as you guys all say customize (Its all in semantics) a new Harpmaster, which I normally do not do, and also asked about opening the coverplates. So, has anyone done this, and if so are they strong enough to avoid crushing without adding a standoff, or leaving a thin sliver of coverplate as a support??? ----------

I've opened a few of them. They're not as strong as Special 20 covers are, so they are more prone to crushing. It might be best to add a support post.

Harvey. I'm not sure but you could probably use ProMaster or Hammond covers. Would you like me to send you a set? ---------- Tom Halchak www.BlueMoonHarmonicas.com

I appreciate it, but my customer is a basicly a special 20 player, and he does not like full covers. He bought this harp because of the price from Best Deals Eva. Thanks, though. ----------
