We had a, "blizzard", here yesterday. That is to say, we were supposed to, but never did. A local acoustic group that does really well for themselves asked if I wanted to sit in for a couple songs.

Well, the one guitar player didn't make it fearing the weather, so I ended up playing the night with them as the lead guitar sub. I found out I'd be doing more than a "couple" songs about half an hour before the show.

I had played with them before, but not any of last night's songs, and they just called stuff on the fly. The guitar player was kind enough to remember to shout out the key of the song, and I tried to figure out the actual progressions on the fly, save this tune, which I called out:

This is the only blues song I got on camera:

I had brought my iPad in case I needed a chart, or had to tab something out, and had totally forgot until the last set break.

Thanks, yes. They had nice mains, but truth be told, I never checked FOH. I just used their vocal monitors. They told me to bring the board, but I pretty much just used a Tech 12 Blonde set super clean with a HarpBreak infront for dirt on like 4 songs.
