Hey guys, Last fall we wrapped up the band's second CD, you can her some of the songs here
the first three on the reverb nation site http://www.reverbnation.com/redstatebluesband
Anyway, I just got to thinking how much I owe many people associated with this forum.. most of all the general discussion has really helped me develop as a player, it is really great to have people interested in all sides of playing and kinds of music putting in their points of view, posting vids etc. New techniques and approaches here have allowed an old dog to start learning new tricks at a faster rate.
More specifically harps from Joe Spiers, Buddha, and Mike and video and verbal advice on working on the others from many here (Joe's gapping video in particular springs to mind)
Adam who once told me "get your tongue on the harp more and sometimes less is more" which i took him as saying don't blow so F&*king many chords... and videos and inspiration from Adam and Jason.
Mark Burness helped with amp building advice, mic's from Greg.
Way back when Bob with the breath force, breathing thing (that was on a different forum actually but he has not stopped) and always with his firm rooting of music in the traditions.
Moderators here for keeping it all going and the participants for (mostly) keeping it fun, civil and constructive. Adam, this board might be way more important to the community than you think!
