Hey, recently started learning Deford Baileys tunes.



This is a work in progress a lot of nuances still to get, new ones each time time I listen infact.

great uncle&uncle would stay up until midnight....to hear hear deford close out grand ole opry....until 1941....when he was fired....WSM in Nashville....they lived in Uree,NC

Thanks guys,

I would have to say the best deford reproduction I have ever heard was by Joe Filisko. I'm a fair way off that but enjoying the process

Hey this is awesome. I've been working on a couple of those Deford Bailey tunes and I agree, the nuances are elusive.

This is one of the best versions I've heard!
