I've got a tweed Gibson GA-6 which is a terrific amp. I have a shot at a GA20 RVT Ranger which seems similar. I think Gibson amps may be a good investment and besides I thought it might be fun to run the two together. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with the GA20 Ranger?

Hi. If you are stating they are similar, I am assuming your GA20 is the earlier Tweed type?

The GA20's were fine amps. Like a lot of Gibsons of those years, they were nearly identical in circuit to the Fenders. I don't think you can go wrong with them.
