LOL!

By referring to John Sebastian as "the other guy" you have made me feel old!

Playing a slow duet like this is tough. Not a lot of people can pull it off this well.

This was their closing number when they played together at SPAH!
I got quite a bit of face time with John, and came to understand that he was my first harmonica influence.

If memory serves I believe John Sebastian's father was a classical harmonica player. Seems like I read that somewhere.

John Sebastian's father was a famous classical player named . . . John Sebastian. John the younger felt that John the elder (they're not Senior and Junior; probably have different middle names) never received the recognition he deserved, and younger's seminar at the SPAH convention, co-presented with present-day classical virtuoso Robert Bonfiglio, was all about the elder's career and recordings.

By the way, Hohner, Bonfiglio, and John's management were all very helpful in securing his appearance at the SPAH convention. I was also happy that we were able to get Annie and Paul to round out the package (Annie's first SPAH in 22 years!)

That seminar totally rocked.
I have to miss a lot of stuff at SPAH, since I am actually supposed to be working.
I didn't miss that one.
John is a big hero of mine!
Annie was real nice too, and a monster player--I told her she was hiding a large African American male inside (can I say that? I did to her . . . )

It was a joke referring to John as the other guy! I just like Annie alot and wanted to give her top billing (maybe it's a harp player crush or something). I actually watch this video over and over......very cool!
