Hi Everyone,
I haven't put this as a OT subject as I think its an extremely powerful learning tool to use with YouTube vids.
I was reading some comments on a YouTube vid and someone mentioned that if you type 'endless' in the YouTube URL, you are taken to the Endless Video site. You can loop the entire video, or choose a segment you want to repeat.
endlessvideo.com/
Perfect for learning that line on one of Adam or Jason's vids.
Cheers
Steve

@1847:
Thank you sir. What with everyone being preoccupied with squabbling over embouchures and posting up Ebay links to auctions for knackered old amps I was beginning to lose all faith that I'd get a reply.
In all seriousness, I thought peeps would be all over this. The ability to loop a phrase and replay it to commit it to memory without having to keep moving the red bar backward is such a useful learning aid, its just a whole new level.
At least I thought so.....

i haven't tried it to loop a phase is there a trick to do just that? what i do is just loop the entire song or backing track then use the left arrow, this will bring the track back 5 seconds hit it twice 10 seconds. use the space bar to stop it in it's tracks.
i have to admit the knackered old butterfield bassman looks mighty tempting. ----------

Steve, thanks for sharing that will make life easier! I've always wondered why youtube didn't have a tool for this.
Especially cool b/c you can bookmark or post links to loops such as this one of Adam's Sonny Terry groove for example.

Did that work? I wonder if you can embed them here too?

@Slaphappy:
That's exactly what I mean. The times I've got frustrated by pushing the red bar backward and had streaming issues I don't care to remember.
An improvement of this would be a tempo control, but I don't imagine its either possible or worthwhile to develop.

Excellent! Really helps for learning solo's.
@1847 You can loop solos. Just wait until the feature loads a bit. I immediately got these two buttons (where normally dates or country's are). Under that, a blue bar loads very slowly, which you can shorten left and right..

You just made my day Steve. I missed your original posting. Very, very useful on a number of levels. Do wonder why Youtube had not done it themselves. Is so obvious a tool. And yes, tempo control would be awesome. Maybe there is something else similar with tempo? Thanks again.
