Never throw a busted harmonica away--unless it's radioactive-- No Suzuki jokes please . . .

I took the cover plates off and put everything in a bag. I don't know how to tune em or anything but I could save the comb and cover plates and screws. Maybe I can make a monster harp someday.
it was a huang silvertone in C it lasted about 7-8 months and it was my first harp. I took it everywhere.

The reason you want to save your dead harps-- When you reach the point in your harmonica life where you want to learn to tune, gap and replace reeds, you have the perfect harmonica--one you don't mind destroying. I used to dread having a reed go dead--it doesn't bother me any more.

I've heard about broken blow reeds. Only ever manage to break draw reeds myself. Usually 4, sometimes 5. Yeah keep it, but I reckon get onto harps that will be useful as spare parts. I have a broken silver tone deluxe somewhere. I think the cover plate sex bolts came in handy but that's about all. ----------
