Hey LSC, I am not really disagreeing with you, just making the point that clear lines are pretty tough to make. One thing you get when you go with an established US company is they have a reputation, so even though they outsource their parts or part of their work, they need to keep the reputation and QA/ QC and service might be way better.
Rick, I would be careful. I have heard several stories like this, but a while back Bushman (John Hall)introduced a steel harp (steelie). Hall got nicely crafted working harps from China as demos, then started up selling the product line. When they came in bulk they were crap.. leaky, cover plates not matching combs etc etc.. he pulled them and I suspect he lost a good bit of money....

@walterharp - I hear you and agree, the lines are quite blurred on a lot of stuff and I'm not adverse to buying foreign made goods. It's impossible not to. My wife and I share a 2nd hand Nissan Pathfinder but we've also got an '85 El Camino which I consider "my" car.....yeah, right. I just get fed up with every damn thing being made in China and although I know the Walmart economics of things I just really feel Americans need to buy and promote American products whenever possible and realize it's about value for money which usually isn't the cheapest thing. Your point about getting the good prototype sample and the crap production version is well taken. That has happened with more than one Chinese product.
The concept of this "Mini" amp seems to have legs and if Rick and Bruce can make money out it, more power to them. Just not my cup of tea. As it happens I don't like Chinese tea either. Chinese food and Chinese women on the other hand :)

Here is the top of the amp. The face is shiny chrome, not black, but I'm not a good enough photog to capture that.

You have a lineout to do that. ---------- Mantra Customized Harmonicas My Website

Chaining them via pedal would also get you more control, as having two Champs chained together via inputs is not the same as having to amp running separately.
For example, using both inputs on some amps drops the signal. That signal regardless his the preamp of the next amp creating a different tonality than the amp by itself.
I used to use two tolex Champs via a stereo pedal. One was pretty much stock. The other had a beefier ceramic speaker and a JJ6v6 and I miked and mixed them together. One was sorta raspy and harsh, the other was clean an punchy. ---------- Mantra Customized Harmonicas My Website

DO NOT use the line out on a small amp to run another amp-a pedal would suffice,or a DI box.

A passive DI will probably cut the mic signal in half when splitting. I've used the lineout from a Double Trouble to feed a 1x12 bass amp with no issues.
I've also used lineouts from the DT and a HG Champ to feed a powered monitor with no issues. ---------- Mantra Customized Harmonicas My Website

if the other amp has 2 imputs you could always use that amp first.
i have always wanted to run four champs together stack them up or two each on both sides of the stage.
i would gladly trade the tone control for another input ----------
