Would like to meet you all if so.
My band (The Stella Vees) has played/hosted a jam session for the past 16 years at Handy Hall on Beale St. Afternoon jam (noon-5 or so) on Friday and Sat. Pretty cool vibe and it gives all the contest performers a chance to get warm/play with other folks.
It would be great to hear you all play on stage with my fellows if you are down there.

Not competing,just going as a fan.Will try to get there to look you up. Been there several times,but I wasn't aware of this jam. Sounds like fun!

Yep, I wandered in on Friday afternoon of IBC 2012. I jammed one song and hung out for a while. I took some photos... I'll see if I can find them

Do you have to be a competitor to sit in? I wouldn't mind getting in on a jam.

Tuckster, I sat in, so the answer is no, you don't have to be competent.

No man. You don't have to be a competitor. Just a player/singer and dig the music.
Its a very nice club as far as sound. One of the best I have played in.

The only photos I can find so far, but I *KNOW* I have others. I remember taking pictures of the amps on stage.
