Two thumbs, fully entertaining - with enough twists and turns to keep the whole family happy - grab the popcorn, this one has Emmy and yummy written all over it - wholesome, fun and instructive...From the makers of "feel good films" rate (G) :)

This is a really good video. I'll be spending some time on it. One thing that really stood out to me is at 9:30 Jason states that he doesn't know exactly when he does the quick exhale, which I'm sure is true most of the time. But it seemed to me that during his Lowrider version, he was using it on the 2nd and 4th beat. It reminded me of the Emily Remler video that Kudzu posted here: http://www.modernbluesharmonica.com/board/board_topic/5560960/5455039.htm. She really stresses feeling beats 2 and 4. This exhale seems like a great way to get into that rhythmic feel.

Back to the woodshed for me!I'll have to pull out my copy of Madcats rhythm harp too. Jason, do you prefer et,just, or compromise tuning for this type of playing? I recently got a just tuned harp from hohner and now I don't want to go back. Thanks for the great lessons, keep it up!

Not a fan of chugging normally but this is a fresh approach, particularly in light of using the technique with other aspects of playing that makes Mooncat rather unique. Will definitely use this vid to glean new tips. Appreciate the detail. Thanks dude.

Moon Cat, Is the full video of your Lowrider version still available? If so, could you point me in the right direction? I took a look here and on Youtube, but had not luck. Thanks.

Had spare time on my hands lately and so tabbed out some Chugging patterns of Jason's at 8:52 (Junior Well riffs) and 9:51 (Low Rider), Both are seriously complex to someone (me) who is not used to this stuff. Without slowing these down, it is one tough job for the ear to discern the detail.
But the bare bones rhythm pattern was simple at least - putting in the notes was a "bit" harder: /1 - - [^11]/1 ^ 1 1 / and more (the notes) is shown on the web page: https://sites.google.com/site/btabnotation/
Thanks again for demonstrating the amazing detail of this Jason.
