The Hohner Travelling Roadshow Featuring Ronnie Shellist & Adam Hamil!
 photo 15813-Travelling-Roadshow-Poster.jpg
The Next two ROADSHOW EVENTS are NEXT WEEK!!!!!
The event is a mixture of Performance, Product Information and Demos, and General Blues Harp Education. Ronnie does some playing, talk about the differences B/T a few of the popular Hohner lines (MB, SP20, GM, XO, and Discovery 48) while playing some examples in a real performance setting so you can hear the differences for yourself. Also, every person who comes to the event gets a FREE Bluesband harmonica in A. Ronnie then takes everyone through some basic chug rhythms and a simple "boogie woogie".

In addition to Ronnie's Part of the show, I am there doing FREE REPAIRS to Hohner harmonicas, As well as answering any questions people have about Harmonica Maintenance, Service, Hohner's Tool kits, and Hohner's Service and Artist Setup Programs. I try to open myself up to any and all questions. I'll share with you all the knowledge that I have.

Another big part of the show is the "Petting Zoo". A table of demo harps where you can try various Hohner Models for yourself. This is a wonderful opportunity to "try before you buy", something that Harp players worldwide wish was available. There is also a PRIZE WHEEL that everyone gets to spin once. Prizes for the wheel include Hohner T-Shirts, Patches, Stickers, Decorative Metal Signs, Hats, and Harp Cases. There will also be a large stock of Hohner harmonicas for sale.

This FREE event is a must for any Harmonica player. Stone cold Beginners to Seasoned Pros all will get something out of this event. It's a wonderful experience for all involved and I'm ecstatic to be a part of it.

Our next two Dates are as follows:

Wed. 11/13/13 in Detroit MI
Marshall Music
6500 Allen Road
Allen Park, MI 48101

Thur. 11/14/13 in Lansing MI
Elderly Instruments
1100 North Washington
Lansing, MI, 48906 USA

Hope to see you there!!!!!

KC, It would be nice to tie this event in to one of our clinic weekends? I believe these are only weekday events. Providing your out a jail at the prearranged dates this would be great. The last time this was posted it was mentioned that Ohio was in the plans.

All of the Roadshows will be from 5pm to 8pm.

As far as Ohio goes, Nothing yet. But Hohner is planning on doing a lot of these events next year. I'm sure we will make it to somewhere in Ohio at some point. The only other two on the books as of right now are Febuary 4th and 5th in Philadelphia at George's Music.

Hey Ted: They could come to Delaware, Ohio on a Friday night. We could definitely bring some people. Then we could be prepared for a full day on Saturday, for the clinic. Back Blowin the Blues in prison the weekend of March 20th, 2014

That sounds like a lot of fun. Hopefully some little kid will be inspired to pick up the Mississippi sax after the show.

Hope you guys make it to the west coast.

Take care

Damn, with a little more notice, I could have been there, but my schedule for the week is set now, and I won't be near you guys.

Adam,

I just had someone email me about doing a harmonica workshop in the Twin Cities area. While I'd recommend not vising Losersville in the winter, it might be something to investigate for the spring...Even if you guys didn't come up this way, maybe Hohner would help me out?

Right now it is at the pre-planning stage...nothing formal.

@Philosofy, Sorry about the short notice. I'll make sure to give a little more notice for the next few. It's a shame you'll miss it.

@HarpNinja, I'm sure we'll eventually make it somewhere near there, but don't know when as of yet. About your workshop, Talk to Derek @ Hohner. He'd be the one to help you out.
