Ok a lifetime of getting 12 (or gasp) 24 bar solos in bands or Jams has left me with the automatic resolving to the tonic at the end. I've found that playing along to a 3 minute backing track i am still doing it...I am stuck in a rut. What are the options here? Keep it clean,no o/blowing allowed.^

This lesson from David Barrett from the old MelBay Harmonica Sessions has some good ideas
Turnarounds
+ (a little more heavy and guitar oriented, but useful) 12 Essential Blues Turnarounds
But it could also be the backing track(s)is limiting you as well. The chord sequence(s) may be imposing a line on you to a degree, so need some variation in the backing tracks as well.

Adam has a good lesson on turnarounds in the "ADVANCED BEGINNERS / INTERMEDIATE" section of the store on this site.
I'd also agree with Komuso's comment about mixing up the backing tracks.

The track shouldn't matter. The turnaround is going to resolve on a chord, meaning, you can play to the harmony of the chord. Just resolve on the third or fifth or seventh...

Sure, you should be able to play all of Dave Barrett's 24 turnarounds against the same backing track - for example - as long as it's not too crazy rhythmically.
It's probably a good exercise to do. I might do it myself, I need some work in that area too!
I guess what I meant is he might have backing track fatigue, trying something else can also help you break out of patterning.

So does Big Walter Horton. He simplifies it. Sounds real nice.
