The Delta Sonics played the D-Note in Arvada last night. The interesting thing was Al Chesis' harp rig: A Magnatone 4x8 amp daisy chained with a Gibson GA-40. No pedals or effects. Nice tone!

doesn't the gibson use a high gain preamp tube?
also i meant the model # 415 clio not 4 15"s lol ----------

Harp and the band sounded great, but there was a little too much going on at the same time. I still liked it!

Al has probably 30 vintage amps. He always plays something interesting.
Yeah, he is a bundle of energy on stage. I've seen him duck-walk the entire length of the bar while playing.
