I was trying to track down a new gig yesterday at a new place called the Delta Steak Company in Oxford. They mentioned that a guy named Zack Tillotson was playing there. Turns out that he makes music under the name Zechariah Lloyd. He's a Mississippi native. The woman at the restaurant said he was "bluesy." That's putting it mildly. This guy's really got the goods. I'd put money on him, if I were a betting man. Enjoy this one; the video was shot live on the Square in Oxford. Give it time to work on you.

Actually, as I watch it again, the sound quality is so good that he must have been lip-syncing to a studio track. Right? Regardless, it's memorable.

Sounds real to me. Love his percussion too. Watch out!

Good live sound I think. I hear birds singing in the background and watch his hands on the percussive slaps and taps. Very soulful performer.
