Nick Moss is an excellent, honest blues player. His recent Kickstarter campaign has failed. His public statement explaining why he had a KS campaign at all and why he will do it again addressed every single question I had and seems like exactly the right way to handle the situation.

Please take a look and comment in this thread:

I'll have my ipod on shuffle and his suff will come on periodically and I'm always very impressed and never quite sure who it is and I have to check because it sounds so good and then I'll see Nick Moss and think to myself that dude got the BLUES inside and out:)

Is'nt Jason being featured on this new CD...Nick always seems to have some great harpin on his music...

You can't make everyone happy. I know a lot of people who view the Kickstarter thing as "begging for money". And I think it has been abused by some people.
Trying to be successful in the Blues genre nowadays is harder than ever. Face the facts, Blues fans make up what percentage of people who are into music? Nick is a good guy, I'm sure he'll figure something out.

As great as Nick is - he could probably make more money playing on the corner for tips in a day then a week of kickstartin ?

I'm not certain about that Frank. Some Kickstarter campaigns make money surprisingly quickly.
