I ran into/met Texas Johnny Boy, a pro harp/sax/singer blues man in the Albuquerque airport about a year ago. He recommended Mike Peace to me as well. Just sayin'.

Mike modded a stock Marine Band Low d for me and sold me one of his Low Eb Marine Bands at the same time-both play like butter.

I have been referring my customers to Mike for repair work since the beginning of this year. He is a great guy to work with. Guys like Mike and Mark Prados out in Hawaii provide a very valuable service for the harmonica community. Both of these guys will do minor repair work like reed replacement (plus a whole lot more like cleaning and tuning) for much less than the price of a new harp.
