Do any Brits know of a London shop that stock MB Deluxes or Crossovers? The closest I know is Chelmsford.
My A harp has given up on me and I have a gig tonight - usually I buy from Harmonicas Direct
Otherwise I'll pick up an MB or Sp20 I guess - though about time I tried the fix flat reeds.
thanks in advance

Don't know about shops in the smoke. A quick Google search and a ring around would garner some results though I'd have thought. There must be loads of shops in the London area selling Marine Bands. I would imagine it'll be easier to find a Marine Band with the new sealed combs than a Deluxe.

A quick look on Google came up with Yamaha Music London. They claim to stock a range of Hohner harps. Here's their details:
Yamaha Music London • Chappell of Bond Street 152-160 Wardour Street Soho London W1F 8YA
Tel: 020 7432 4400

Hey GamblersHand,
I don't know if you're big into overblows, but if I were in your shoes, I'd buy a Lee Oskar. They're very consistent out of the box, readily available and cheap.
I'd cover the gig tonight, then sort out your Harmonicas Direct order or get what you have repaired. I fear you may waste a day and more petrol money than the price of a LO and you'll probably have to tweak a MBD or Crossover before you can get it to do anything the LO won't do.

You're welcome GH. Those new sealed Marine Band combs are really nice. They are one of the best out of the box harps around. They play almost as well as a Crossover over does, maybe just not as quick.
