Many have seen harpsuckers' youtube videos demo'ing various amps over the years. Here he is playing with a band
through my favorite amp for harp, the Dano Commando model 88.

Good old harpsucker, his passionate addiction to harpdom, indeed something to behold.Super badass player, and a wonderful worldwide ambassador for the best dam music, american blues.

Just to satisfy my catlike inquisitive nature, are those danos pretty rare,or are there quite a few out and about.Like he says pretty tricky, usually most amps turn treble lower than bass, for harp.Nice post instrumentals are back in.

Commandos are indeed pretty rare. The tone controls work like any other, they just reversed the pots on the bass. There are 2 separate channels with inputs, volume and tone controls, a nice feature. Little Walter amp? Who knows, but certainly a holy grail harp amp. I have a Dano Challenger 1X15, similar chassis, same 2 channel layout with reversed bass control.

I did not realize the Comando is such a large amp. Too Cool...BN
