To be honest; you've got some work to do.
A little bit of theory goes a long way. Do you have the right harp for the song? What key is the song in? Most people find second position the easiest to begin with (sounds like you have a c harp, song should be in G).

Learn a few licks and figure out how to follow the chord changes, learn the root notes and how to improve your tone with a larger resonating cavity and thicken the sound with chords and octaves.

Good luck and keep at it!

You are good enough to play whit a guitar player. Do that, he (or she) will help you whit the keys and whit the 12 bar blues structure.

Work on your tone, work on your vibrato, work on single notes.

The song sounds like it's in E, but I think you're using a C harp. Try an A harp.

Other than what's already said, make sure that you are tapping the beat, and make sure that your riffs work off the rhythms of the song.

PS: This song is Boomerang by Lonnie Brooks - would love to see some other people's take on this tune - how about a response video?

Duke, you are playing with C harp and song is in E, that aint gonna work. It doesnt sound good man...
try to play a song in G. And get some good instruction material, book/Cd's, youtube lessons, learn blues scale in 2nd position first, riffs...
I am also a beginner player but I practiced with tones of lessons, cd's and that helped me a lot.
Cheers

Rule number one-dont step on the vocals or the guitar solo

Thats the quickest way t0 get kicked out of the band. lay back and find the open spots in the tune that you can add something tasty.
