I mastered the debut Blues Doctors disc, ROOSTERS HAPPY HOUR, last Friday and will be sending out promotional CDs in a few weeks. I'm looking toward a November 15th release. So it's that time in the cycle where I start squinting hard at my mailing lists. It's time for the grow-purge-and-tweak.

If any members of this forum are blues DJs, blues journalists, or administrators in blues societies (specifically, the person for reviewing new discs and/or assembling & sending out newsletters), and you would be interested in receiving a promotional copy of the CD, please email me directly (asgussow at aol dot com) and let me know. Please don't try to game me for a free CD; just let me know what you do (i.e., in line with the three categories above). Sending me a link to what you do would be an excellent way of convincing me that I should make you part of my promotion plans.

If you're in the biz and will be emailing me off list, you might also, while you're at it, share your info here, if you want. In other words, if you've got a weekly blues show, are a member in good standing of this forum, and would be happy to receive promotional CDs from others here (and elsewhere) who have blues CDs to send you, please let us know! That way, others will enjoy the fruit of my personal request.

Finally, it there are any souls here who have already accumulated good promotional mailing lists and who are willing to share some or all of what's on them, for free, please contact me off-list. I'll be happy to return the favor.

Thanks!
