LOL. Pick it up in Ontario! Our Canadian buddies can get it now. It takes a few weeks if you order a new one.
Here is an email I received this morning:
"Very pleased with my Mission
Rick, I'd like to thank you for your help and advice on my Mission 32-20. It's a corny saying, but it was worth the wait. Fantastic piece of equipment. Really catches the harp nuances I never knew I even had. And the tone control, even at low volumes in small gigs, is great.
Makes me sound better, and inspires me to play more. What else can you ask for?"

yeah But if you buy it from ebay, you don't have to wait in line for your turn for Bruce to build one for you, which might be a factor for some. Bruce will take 2-3 months to build one as they are hand made(not complaining -because it is definitely "worth the wait").
and Rick has been right with his description of the amp.

I'd be a little skeptical of those big magnet speakers for harp.

Since the amp is made in the USA there are no customs duties due. Customs duties are a tax placed on goods manufactured in another country and then imported. A US product sent to Canada attracts Canadian duties. A US product coming back does not. However there are delays coming into the US due to inspections. An item can sit in a warehouse for quite some time before they get around to it.
The price being asked is most like based on the original buyer having to pay Canadian customs duties and of course shipping across international borders can create silly amounts of paperwork that someone has to deal with. He's basing the price on what he had to pay for it which would be a fair chunk more than the delivered price in the US.

I shipped a couple of vintage amps to Canada via USPS, and while it was easy for me it was expensive and slow for the buyers. And my understanding is that USPS is the better way to go. The buyers both asked me to ship that way.

"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
He must have sold it locally.
Did somebody here on the forum buy it?
