RJ is one of my favourite players. He's got great chops, killer tone and he can sing superbly. I can't help thinking though that the harp is far too prominent in the mix in these videos. It sounds like it's almost double the volume of anything else onstage. For my taste I'd prefer things to be more balanced.

I thought it was perfect being the harp was the lead instrument. More often then not the harp gets lost in the mix.

It's RJ! Of course he overpowers the rest o the band! Met RJ about 15 years ago, really impressed with his playing. Saw him again 4 years ago and he explained at the harp seminar how and why he became a tongue blocker. His power and tone seemd twice as big as I remembered. Nice guy.

Forgot to mention.... RJ is playing my rig in that first video: 1959 Shure 440SL and 1991 Bassman RI amp.
