Steve. Yes I think it is straight harp in C. This is the tune as I hear it in my head and may not be completely accurate;)
I think 2nd note in should be OB on 1 but as it takes me about 10 minutes winding up to play them and at a serious risk of dislocating my throat:) I prefer to play a quick indistinct draw 1.
Happy birthday,Grey Owl! All the best wishes to you! What a humorous and funny song you choose! Great! You are much needed for harmonica community when you sixty for! :) ---------- my music
Thanks Wheel for your Birthday Wishes! Yes just a bit of fun really. It was enjoyable to do (but too many bends for my liking for a simple sounding little song), I'll have to pick something a bit easier if I make it to 94:) ----------
Very cool dude. Lately my time is being taken up by some other serious junk but I agree that it would be a fun exercise to find different positions for this. Happy birthday. Will be joining the club in less than a year too. Wish I was near as good as you. Life just goes by too fast. Thanks for the tune.
That was a very nice rendition of a great old song. I too learned this song on guitar when I got to that age--A really kick ass ragtime version--but its just been so long ago I forgot it!!
