I've been Bulletized. I put my order in to Greg on Friday. Got my Bulletizer this morning. CA to PA in 3 days. Only took about 5 min. to put on my 57. First off, my mic is sooo much easier to get a good cup on. Tone seems a tad better too. We have a gig on Friday. So I'm curious to hear what the difference may be running through the pa. Thanks Greg. ---------- You Tube = goshinjk

PA's decent, especially if you get some compression and overdrive with a good cup. I like the clarity of notes with the 57, the eq is balanced and not mushy like a bullet can be. I don't think it sacrifices anything. I do like adding a pedal and the LW Octave kicks ass on the PA with the 57.

I actually like the sound through the pa too. I prefer some delay, which I can set up when I use my Cube. Depending on which mixer our sound guy brings, the delay may or may not work. I would like to get a delay pedal so I can controlled that aspect myself. I would like to get a Lone Wolf Delay or maybe the Harp attack. Likely get a Danelectro delay to ease into the pedal thing. ---------- You Tube = goshinjk

I recently acquired a Lone Wolf Reverb pedal and tried it at practice last Saturday. I used an Ultimate 57 through a Harp Attack and then through the Reverb (instead of the delay) and into the PA. Nice effect. Couldn't resist singing Heartbreak Hotel, though.

This is a track I cut with some guys using a wooden mic from Greg and one of Bruce's mission amps...

Just received the Bullitized Ultimate 545 from Greg ... apx. 6 hrs. performing time, play direct through the house PA's .. 3 different house systems so far... these are houses I've been playing in for years , before the 545 , playing with whatever vocal mic's were being used ...
Lucky where i live , it's possible to sit in 5-6 nite's out of the week if I was so inclined ... small tourist town , know all the bands .. there are a bunch of young folks performing blues & rock here :) Very cool !
Glad I invested in the 545 (low impedance)... went for the full meal deal ... cable, impedance matching transformer, bullitizer ..
Feels great ! Getting a very nice range of clean and 'dirty' sounds depending on how it's played ... still getting used to the volume control, it's a 3/4 turn - off to full , so fine adjustments takes some focus to find exactly the 'right' volume for the moment .. I'm sure with a few more hours I'll have that down pat ... only practice acoustically at home ... if at all ...
Great 'feedback' , no pun intended, from the bands I play with .. some for over 10 years .. everyone (musicians) have positive comments on the sound & tone I'm getting, compared to the vocal mic's I used to use .. Sang through it twice ... prefer setting the 545 for harp on the PA, bass up , trebal, mids down , just enough effects .. and using a house mic for the vocals .. to be expected
2 PA's sounded great .. 1 PA must have been set up funky, or it is breaking down .. sounded like c#%p the vocalist was also complaining too ... using his own mic - Go figure that was the first time my wife came along to listen to it ...
Overall, so far so good .. happy I bought it .. Greg - Thanks for cool product !

Must got home from playing a 2 hr. Outdoor gig. Ran my Bulletized 57 straight into the pa with no effects. Kept all my level settings at the usual spots. Noticed that with the mic on the stand to play off of it, I had to be closer than w/o the Bulletizer. When holding the mic, much easier to have good consistent cup. No cramping. Tone was favorably colored just a tad. Definitely $50 well spent. ---------- You Tube = goshinjk
