I was thinking about buying an octave pedal. Sometimes I play a solo gigs and that kind of sound boost would be a nice addition. I found the Behringer UO300 pedal, that can be bought very cheap, even cheaper than a Special 20 harp. Anybody knows it or owns it? Is it harp friendly in any way and does it go crazy if playing chords or going low on lower harp keys? I've got a Lone Wolf modded Epiphone Valve Junior, ceramic Astatic 10-c and Shure 520D with 99S556 CM element. Will it work with the setup? I also got a DIY electric guitar made by my friend and it would be also a fun thing to play guitar with. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also found another octave pedal from the same manufacturer, called UO400 which happens to be a polyphonic octave pedal. I think it should be better for harp i case of playing some chords and other stuff. It's more expensive but still affordable.Any toughs on this guy? I know that the POG octavers are great, but the price is also out of my range.

I have one of the Behringer UO300 octave pedals and it is awful. I bought it to use with a looper thinking I could add some bass lines to my loops, but it sounds terrible with harmonica and not much better with guitar. I would recommend saving your cash and getting a better one. I too would love a POG, but they are a little higher than I care to spend for goofing around in the basement.
