Jelly Roll Johnson is a player who doesn't seem to get mentioned much on here. So I thought I address that. He has some seriously good chops, can play fluently in multiple positions and uses overblows too. Here's a taste of him in action. I'd urge you to check out more of his music.

Totally agree,Kingley. Saw him at a circle jam out in the hall at SPAH. His playing stood out amongst a group of high level players. He doesn't seem to promote himself very much. I think he does a lot of session work in Nashville.
