A great show from the mighty Rick and the Nightcats. They start around the 20 minute mark but the support beforehand and throughout is worth a look.

Rick is always a great performer and puts on a fun show. I like his guitar player too. Hope he comes close by again. I really like his style!

Really nice recording quality on this video.

Rick's guitar player is Chris "Kid" Andersen. He is an outstanding player in many styles. He is also a showman with a great sense of humor so he and Rick combine to put on a great show. Kid has a recording studio in San Jose called "Greaseland" which has already produced some excellent releases.

FYI - Chris can also play bass, keys and drums, and can play the guitar left handed, right handed, upside down, etc. He is one of those music geniuses that just pisses you off.

If you haven't seen the "Met Her On The Blues Cruise" video - its a lot of fun.....

Kid Andersen is a monster guitar player, he's a very talented guy indeed. His wife Lisa is also a great singer. Kid and Rick are a perfect musical combination in my opinion.
