Yeah Hakan! Fabulous version of a great song. My only other comment is that maybe your vocals need to be just a touch higher in the mix. Oh and I love that Mjölk poster in the background. I know it means milk, but isn't Mjölk also like Ikea but for rich people? :)

Thanks Kingley. The milk packages look like this (but smaller). Red is 3% fat, green is 1.5% and blue is 0.5%. Mjölk IKEA for rich people - I have not heard of that. On the other hand, I don't know so much about rich people!

Hello Håkan--

I had to post this version of Fannie Mae, a version I've loved since 1968. It's by the Steve Miller Band, from their first album. Here it is, hope I've done the embedding right:

What I particularly like about this version is the extended instrumental break that starts at 1:23 and builds in intensity for the next 5 or so rounds, before dropping back to a quick vocal and out.

I like your playing, your creativity and your tone. I like your version of Fannie Mae; I hope you don't mind me posting Steve Miller's version here.

Cheers,

wolf kristiansen

Thanks Wolf!

It's a charming 60s version. My favorite version (I was probably thinking of when I did this video) is Magic Slim's from 1980s.
