Here's a terrific video--not just a relaxed, unforced cover of Little Walter's "Boom Boom Out Goes the Light," but superb video production values. I don't know what they're putting in the food down there, but these guys cook:

Joe Marhofer is the harp player. Here's the band's bio:

And here's a long and informative interview with Marhofer:

Yeah, there is a very good blues scene in Brazil. It is so good that the best (for me) chilean harp player is over there for the past months playing like crazy.

The good thing is that Flavio Guimareas is coming to my city whit Gonzalo! I am really exited about that.

I have a suspicion that the food they're consuming is a is a steady healthy diet of Chicago Blues Music...

I'd bet that they're good at what they do... because they had the patience and diligence to study a style of music long enough- to actually get good on their instruments at playing that style with heartfelt authenticity...

Many a musicians downfall in my opinion- is they can't settle on style of music to actually "master"... thus they remain at best, mediocre at many styles of music :)
