This is my improv. around the uptempo version by George Benson. I had to dig out my little used Db and Eb harps along with a D harp to do the key changes:)
The song starts in the key of Ab then rises a semi-tone to A, then rises another semi-tone to Bb, so it was handy to use the Db,D & Eb harps and play second position. O to be able to pick up just the D harp say and play in 7th, 2nd, and 9th!

Appearances can be deceptive. Man,this video gave me a lot of grief, I lost count of the number of times I hit the record button. A vid of the outtakes of my numerous failed attempts would have been highly entertaining!
Everything that could go wrong did go wrong: - screwing up the start, middle & improv. sticking reeds, grabbing the wrong harp for the key change, ramming my head into the mic on the changeover, dropping the harp and finally just as I was thinking, I think I'm going to make it this time the bloody Red Arrows aerial display jets decided to do a fly-over my house - it's suprising how well my mic picks up the roar of 9 Jets:)

Hahaha, yeah I know the feeling :) I now start my recording sessions with a dab of whiskey...
... And by the end the bottle's gone dry. ;P

Thanks wheel! Yes, great melody. I liked The Drifters version but I prefer the George Benson.
