My wife went away for the weekend and I have been playing all my amps at full volume in the house with 5 different Mics to backing tracks on my stereo (Bassman included) :) Doing alot of testing and comparisons.
It is so funny. When I go and pick up my Mic the Cat meows and leaves the room. LOL I guess I need more practice

That's similar to my story but the opposite. I'm retired so 5 days a week when my wife's downtown at work I play amplified. On the weekend, respecting her ears and need to recharge, I play acoustically only around the house. In all cases though the cat takes off for parts unknown whenever there's any sign of harmonica playing. He doesn’t seem to mind guitar playing although has demonstrated a preference for acoustic guitar over electric.

I have irregular times at work and my wife work 8-5 so i can give full throttle some hours 2-3 times a week. :D My St.Bernhards did not like it and went out in the garden when i pick up a mic.. But the little bastard we have now is too dumb for that. He just stand as close to the amp he can and howl. We use to say he's a photo model. Cute, but no brain..
