I'm sure some of you are familiar with Steve Bailey and the T-Town Aces. He is one great harp player, and a good singer and guitar player too. He was the featured guest at the Elmer's Pub jam last night. I got to play harp with him - he was playing guitar. This video is from a gig his band played at the Highway 99 club.

We are blessed with many awesome harp players here in the Seattle area. Just to name a few -> Grant Dermody, Kim Field, Mark Dufresne, Lee Oskar, Paul Greene, Jeff Herzog, Steve Bailey, Jeff Nicely, Jim McLaughlin, Brian Lee, Bill Davis, Dick Powell, and I'm sure I've forgotten someone. Harp heaven I tell ya.'
A couple hours down the road to Portland and the list gets even bigger, Curtis Salgado, Hank Shreve, Bill Rhoades, etc. ---------- snakes in Snohomish

Yep, there are many fine harp players from the Pacific NW. Seattle and Portland are both strong blues scenes.

He was playing a very, very old looking Fender but I think it was a Bassman. Sure sounded good.
