Hello everyone; So the other day I made a channel for people that want to learn tradition folk music on the diatonic harmonica, it contains currently 14 lessons and I want to add to that as I progress. Well.. I don't have the illusion that I could teach most of you something new, but perhaps when you have a friend or someone in the family that is interested in playing traditional folk music you could forward them to the youtube channel. It really is something that probably a better player than me should do. But no real freely available lessons are available so I guess it's a start. Maybe others get inspired to start their own (free) lesson programmes. So the channel is: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UClouII_KeJ294Bb_ms_KmKg Comments are appreciated ofcourse!

I think you are doing a pretty good job of it and it's nice to see a resource that's not based on blues improvisation and is more song focused. I only had chance to have a quick look, but you're presenting style seems clear and concise. The only thing I didn't see was an explanation of the harmonica tab for people. It might be good to make a video that explains how to use the tab. Just so beginners don't feel too overwhelmed. It may already be there and I might simply have missed it though , so ignore me if it's there already.
Here's a clickable link to the channel for folks: TradHarmonicaMusicLessons

I think you are filling a gap there Boyen. I'd like to know what the (!) exclamation mark means on some of your tabs please? Not seen that before.

You two are absolutely correct. I didn't have anything included on how the tabs should be interpreted, now I do! So thanks. Just to answer here as well. I use the exclamation mark to indicate emphasis on certain notes.
Thanks for both of your comments I appreciate it
