I'm going to the UK tomorrow, and will have all next week free. I will be staying in East Sussex, and will travel in to London at least a couple of days. Any harp related things I should know about?

I don't know about harp related specifically, but the "Ain't Nothin But" bar in Soho in London has blues on all the time. Just Google it for a gig guide.
Also search for the Blues Kitchen in Camden, the Round Midnight Jazz and Blues Bar in Islington, Green Note Cafe in Camden and Brooks Blues Bar in Hammersmith.
