Just been wondering what's up with Alex Paclin these days and lo and behold a new video appears. Something a bit different from Alex - I like.

Absolutely superb! Killer tone, wonderful chops and stellar rhythmic playing. Very funky indeed and heavily influenced by Jean Jacques Milteau to my ear. I love the energy that Alex brings to everything he does. His video editing skills are also fantastic.

He really took advantage of the harps ability to sound big and fat in that tune... Top Shelf vid and playing as always from Alex :)

The word "play" is often associated with having "fun". Few harp players choose to exhibit their fun nearly as obvious as this. Love it Alex. More please.

listen to the riff at 22 seconds
i could spend the rest of my life trying to get that one riff alone lol

what the heck is a two double triple?
sounds like a new in and out burger.

i hear a norton buffalo influence in addition to the others mentioned.

One of the many things I like about Alex's performance here is that although the sound is big it's not in your face and it sits nicely in the mix. It's still funky without dominating and the sound is warm. It's classy playing.

I always LOVE Alex's videos. Not only does he play really well, but he makes his videos really entertaining. It is a LOT of extra work, I'm sure - but they look professional and make me much more likely to stay tuned for the duration.

GREAT WORK, ALEX. Keep it up!
