Hey guys, recently I recorded a version of Big Walter Horton's 'Easy', and uploaded it to YT and it was tagged with 'matched third party content'. Of course I deleted the video in a fit of fear and devastation, but the song is from the fifties... I have a version of Little Walter's 'Rocker' on there already and it didn't come up with that, so do I try and upload it again or not bother? I want to do the piece 'Summertime' as well but I'm not sure if I should bother, I don't want to mess with this stuff. I've seen many versions of both songs on YT, and people like Christelle and the Hawk (Hakan Ehn) have versions of songs by Queen and so on. It's kind of a shame as I was quite proud of it!
Thanks!!

Don't worry about it. It is a standard flag by Youtube and it can be a bit arbitrary with some songs being flagged and others not. I have been posting on youtube for around 3 years now and quite a few of my uploads have been flagged 'matched third party content.
Go for it!! ----------

Happened to my easy, too. I'm not sure what to do. It's kind of strange challenge to make and somewhat counterproductive. I have bought the track by big Walter, I have listened to it on spotify maybe a dozen times, I have tagged it with big Walter and one hundred and seventy people have watched it and if anyone liked it enough I bet they bought the track, too... I guess they need to tell me what they really want and I'll try to accommodate them then... ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

Hmmm, well at least I'm not the only one who had the same thing. Haven't uploaded mine again yet, but I will do!
