I think I'd actually try one at $7.99!

They seem to have been blown out (hee hee), can't find them anywhere.
One of the vendors said, "This product has been discontinued but may be available as a used item."
I don't think so . . .

I'm a huge Aerosmith fan, all the way back to their first album in the 70s (there's about three or four of their 80s and 90s albums that I just pretend never happened), and I actually like Steven's harp playing, which I'm sure puts me decidedly in the minority on this forum.

Having said that, when I saw hohner put that harp out, I just laughed. Wasn't tempted for a second to buy. Hell at $100, the money would be far better spent on either a custom or several stock Marine Bands / SP 20s.

But yeah, at $7.99 how could you go wrong? It does imply though that it's not even made as well as a stock Special 20, which in my neck of the woods will set you back about $30. Then again, maybe it just means that no self respecting harp player would want anyone to see that he's playing one with Steven Tyler's signature embossed on it.

PS: I'm suprised Kiss' Gene Simmons hasn't patented/trademarked the idea/word Casket by now. Or maybe he has.........just kidding.

Too funny.

there are 2 models.. one is made in china
the other is made in germany
it is a special 20 except the reed plate is nickle plated brass same as the meisterclass. the covers are plated on the inside i believe. also a little bit mellower in tone
i had to gap mine... not a bad harp over all.
