Dennis Gruenling Performance Workshop Sunday Aug 11 at 4pm in Huntington WV

Dennis Gruenling will do a PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP at Gino's Pub. Doug Deming and The Jewel Tones will be backing him during the workshop. Dennis described the workshop as:
"Talk about jamming & performing, with topics such as: repertoire, accompaniment playing, rhythm playing, giving and receiving cues, arrangements, listening to the band, soloing, fills, amplified technique (hands on), as well as a chance to jam with the band to work on what we go over in the workshop and get feedback "
The 90 minute workshop starts at 4pm at Gino's Pub and Pizza at 25th st and 5th ave in Huntington, WV on Sunday Aug 11, 2013. The workshop fee is $20. After the workshop, there will be an hour for talking, meeting, drinking and eating before a free 90 minute performance by Doug Deming and the Jewel Tones with Dennis Gruenling starting at 6:30pm.

Sounds awesome! I might have to try and make the drive over from Lexington for this. Never seen Dennis live and I know I'm missing out.

Lexington is not a bad trip. about 2 hours. You could even make it back home by bedtime...... mabey :)
