i was watching Pistolkat's "Easy", and it reminded me i actually have a video of me playing this...and since i've never posted a video here before...except maybe that 'rangaphile' clip with 3 seconds of harp in it...i decided to share. the first time i ever played this in public. my g/f took it with her iphone so i'm afraid the sound may be not fully representative of much...i dont know if the amp was quite as harsh as the sound in the clip..

Very nice, Supa B! I really liked your low honking chorus. Very good bending! Nice warbles and tremolo, too. A bit slower trem than Walters? Sounded smoother.

Thank you all for your kind comments! FMW: yeas, that cheer really surprised me. Those girls were having fun! Such a friendly room! Rick: the amp is my epiphone valve junior head (actually a Legacy badged model, exactly the same as a Harley Benton GA5H), with 'alnicomagnet' mod kit ('blues harp' voicing options), using my home made 2x8" cab (weber 8a100). The cab is wired parallel for 4 ohm. Pistolcat: yes my trem is kinda slow I know. I can do it faster but this is comfortable. Faster I have to really work at still. It's like my body wants to drop back to this speed all the time. Silverharp: it's a Bb (song is in F) standard marine band 1896 I think. These days I'm using a Blues Harp with custom bamboo comb for it, but I think the video is before I decided to use that. I think my mic is a '49 520 SL (CR 99b86). It would be the first time I played a GB shell in public also (id always use a ev630 or jt 30 before...GB is a bigger handful) Bought that one from Bigtone. It's not the hottest element but has a nice sound through the range..
The guitarist is Adam C who plays in the JellyShakers..percussionist is Robbie Hansen I think...i dont know him. he just asked to play along and I said ok. ----------

That's a nasty tone. I really like the way your "triplets" vibrato is helping drive the song at that tempo. It's a distinctive touch.
One of the best covers of Big W's version I've heard.
So yes: post more.
Big bad metallic overdrive tone. But your acoustic tone is obviously making the whole thing work.
Very nice.

Thank you for watching and for your comments. Truly, it means a great deal to me. Jimi Lee encouraged me to learn this song and has helped me so much over the last year. ----------

Great! Nice raw tone. The iPhone iPhone mic enhances the highs, but still sounds nice. Like the tremolo ... much slower trem than Walter's, and I think that works. Gives the song a new character ---------- The tone, the tone ... and the Tone

I have to repost this. Arnenym sent me this on a swedisish forum... This is a remake of the original sung version of easy. I dig the phrasing and here the vibrato and tremolo is almost comically exaggerated. Could be a fun way to play it? Maybe with every other chorus with vocals?

You done us all proud with that version of BW.His tone and nuance eloquence was second to none.Of course I liked the clips when he totally took over a number, while sitting in with others, maybe a tad drunk, but I believe he had a reason.
